It's an ideal solution that offers advanced security features, easy setup and an upgrade to a fast, new technology while protecting your past investments through interoperability with earlier 802.11b standard equipment.
108Mbps Turbo Mode Data Transfer Rate. Powered by D-Link 108G Technology, this adapter is capable of delivering maximum wireless signal rates of up to 108Mbps when connected to other D-Link AirPlusXtreme G products. When operating with other 802.11g-compliant equipment, this adapter can transfer data at up to 54Mbps speed, and is an ideal device for wireless applications like large file transfer and streaming video.
Seamless Operation. The DWL-G132 is backward compatible 802.11b devices, so you can maintain connectivity with your existing equipment when you upgrade your network to higher-speed 802.11g. This adapter can be used in the peer-to-peer mode (ad-hoc) to connect directly to other wirelessly enabled computers, or in the client mode (infrastructure) to communicate with other users through an access point or router.
Easy Setup. The DWL-G132 includes an intuitive configuration utility that allows you to discover and connect to other wireless networks in nearby areas. In addition, the utility can also create detailed connectivity profiles of networks you frequently access.
